Guilford Pride

Code of Conduct

Guilford pride is a welcoming place to come together with friends, family, and loved ones to celebrate and uplift the LGBTQ+ community. Our code of conduct is designed to ensure the event is a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

  1. Guilford Pride is a celebration recognizing the past struggles and future possibilities of the LGBTQ+ community. All participants are expected to embrace and respect this.

  2. Guilford Pride is a safe space for all. Any threatening, violent, harassing or offensive behavior against its volunteers, staff, artists, performers, vendors, participants or members of the public will not be tolerated.

  3. Guilford Pride celebrates diversity and inclusion and will not tolerate hate speech or derogatory remarks about a person’s race, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, size, wardrobe, physical ability, economic status and/or religious beliefs.

All volunteers, speakers, performers, vendors, parade participants, and members of the public are expected to follow these guidelines. Violations of the code of conduct will result in removal from the event.

Please be advised that this is a public event and photographs and/or videos may be taken and shared on social media by attendees and vendors.
